I have purchased a return flight from Bangkok to Tel Aviv with a connection in the UAE from you. During our last two days in Bangkok (19-20/12/25), my wife and I developed a very bad stomach ache and were not feeling well. Due to our condition, we self-medicated with medication we brought from home and were in a state of extreme exhaustion and physical weakness. During this period, we received several messages from Etihad regarding a delay to flight EY401 - first one delay, then another. In our weak and exhausted state, the changing schedule caused significant confusion, which led us to arrive at the airport after the flight had taken off. Being stuck at the airport, feeling very unwell, exhausted and tired, we wanted to get home as quickly as possible, without stops and without delays. We had to book a last-minute flight with another airline to return to Israel. We were at the airport for 12 hours and had to rent a rest room, small and cramped and without toilets... We suffered a lot! We ask you to show flexibility and empathy in light of these exceptional circumstances. We would be happy to receive a refund for the flight we missed or a travel credit to use on a future flight, as we still want to choose Etihad for our next flight. Hani alheibam writing regarding a missed connection in Abu Dhabi involving three passengers on a single ticket booking. Our inbound Etihad flight from Phuket to Abu Dhabi was delayed by approximately 30 minutes, which caused us to miss our connecting flight to Israel, as the gate had already closed. This was a protected connection sold by Etihad, with a scheduled connection time of 1 hour and 50 minutes, and the missed connection was not due to any fault of ours. After waiting for over one hour at the airport without being provided with a timely rebooking solution, we were forced to purchase three replacement Etihad tickets at our own expense in order to reach our final destination. These tickets were purchased using the same credit card. We respectfully request full reimbursement for the three additional tickets, as this situation was caused by an Etihad operational delay and lack of timely assistance. Please find attached all relevant documents, including the original booking, boarding passes, and receipts for the replacement tickets. MERAV AVITALABITBUL⸻ Hello, Yesterday, on 26/11, I flew with Etihad to Abu Dhabi and then to Pakt. Flights EY600 and EY412. On Tuesday morning, I upgraded the seats by paying an additional $105 for extra-legroom seats for myself and my husband. When we boarded the flight, it turned out that the seats I selected — which in the aircraft image clearly appeared as seats with extra legroom and bulkhead positions — were not as presented. We were forced to sit in regular seats on both flights. My husband holds a disability card and suffers from back and leg problems, and because of the poor seating situation, he experienced significant pain and even missed a full day of our trip due to needing to remain in the hotel. I paid $17 for each upgraded seat (a total of $34 for both of us) on flight EY600, and an additional $35 per person for the upgraded seats on flight EY412. We notified the flight attendant immediately after boarding, but she was unable to assist. The same situation happened to three additional passengers seated near us. I also want to tell you that I didn’t get a recied until now. I onley see tha payment in my credit card. Therefore, I kindly request a refund of the amount paid.
