We are a family of four passengers traveling together. Unfortunately, there is a minor typing error in my daughter’s ticket. Her name appears as “Veroneca” on the booking, while the correct spelling in her passport is “Veronica”. This is only a one-letter typo (“e” instead of “i”) and does not change the name pronunciation or identity in any way. All other details, including passport number, date of birth, and personal information, are completely correct. I contacted Emirates to request a correction. They informed me that since this is a connecting flight involving flydubai, they require your approval to proceed with correcting this single letter in the name. Once approved by you, Emirates confirmed they will process the change (of course, with the applicable fee). I would like to note that the tickets were purchased as Flex tickets, and that the flight is currently fully booked, so purchasing new tickets with corrected names is unfortunately not an option. My daughter is 9 years old and must travel with us. Due to this one-letter typo, we may be forced to cancel all four tickets, which would be extremely unfortunate given the circumstances. I kindly and sincerely ask for your understanding and assistance, and for your approval to correct this one-letter typo only, so that the name on the ticket will fully match the passport. | יפה ונתן גינר | שלום רב, בתאריך 15.12.25 היינו אמורים לטוס בטיול מאורגן לדובאי דרך קשרי תעופה. לצערנו, חווינו עיכוב בטיסה של מעל ל-8 שעות לאחר שכבר ביצענו את תהליך הצ'ק אין ושלחנו את המזוודות. נאלצנו לקחת את המזוודות בחזרה ונשלחנו לבית מלון, כאשר עלויות הנסיעה במונית הלוך ושוב למלון היו על חשבוננו האישי. לאחר מכן, חזרנו לשדה התעופה בשעה 22:00 בלילה לקראת טיסה שהייתה אמורה להמריא בחצות. אנו מבקשים לקבל את הפיצוי המגיע לנו על פי החוק עבור העיכוב המשמעותי הזה, במיוחד לאור העובדה שהפסדנו יום שלם בטיול המאורגן ונגרמה לנו עוגמת נפש. נשמח לטיפולכם בנושא בהקדם האפשרי. בברכה, יפה ונתן גינר | 27/12/2025 בשעה 17:11 |
